Where you live...
The Huguenot town of Friedrichsdorf is situated close to the metropolis Frankfurt/Main as well as to the nature of the Taunus Mountains. Excellent infrastructure and recreational possibilities are combined in this lovely small town. The motorways A5 and A661 are only a few minutes' drive away. If you have a car, a separate parking space can be provided only a short walk away.
But even without a car you are in good hands here. The railway station with suburban and regional train connections to Frankfurt/Main (approx. 30 min. to the city centre), Bad Homburg, Friedberg and the Hintertaunus region can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.
Everything you need for everyday life is also "right on your doorstep":
Within walking distance (1-10 minutes) are supermarkets/discounters, the TaunusCaree shopping center, the "Hugenottenstraße" shopping street, bakers, butchers, weekly market (Wednesday/Saturday), cafes, restaurants; hairdressers, dry cleaners, copy shop, fitness center, doctors, banks, churches.... in summer you can also find refreshment in the open-air swimming pool.
How you live...
The flat was completely renovated and lovingly furnished in 2020. There are two other rented units in the house. On the same property in a separate part of the building there are two further residential units (landlord). In the romantic inner courtyard, a seating area is available for communal use by all residents during the summer months.
When you enter the flat, you first come to the hallway with wardrobe area and storage space for shoes, bags, etc. From here you go directly to the bright, fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Here you will find a 4-burner induction hob, oven, dishwasher and a spacious fridge-freezer combination. If you are in a hurry, the microwave is ready for action. Coffee/tea and toast for breakfast or would you prefer a smoothie? There are devices for that, too.
Next to the kitchen is the daylight-filled bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition to towels and a hairdryer, there is also a washer-dryer ready for you to use.
A sliding door separates the kitchen area from the living room and the adjoining office area. A cosy evening on the sofa in front of the smart TV (incl. satellite reception and Bluetooth-enabled sound bar) can be enjoyed here as well as concentrated work in the home office - thanks to high-speed internet (up to 50 Mbps). Wifi is also available in all areas of the flat.
At the other end of the corridor you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double bed (140 cm wide) with bedside table and wardrobe. Bed linen is included.
The storage room around the corner offers storage space, e.g. for your suitcases or anything else that is rarely used or should be stored out of sight. Here you will find more chairs in case you want to receive visitors, as well as various household appliances such as ironing board, hoover, etc.
