## Neighborhood description
The Puerta del Ángel neighborhood is on the left bank of the Manzanares River. The traditionally working class neighborhood has undergone beautification in recent years, and now in addition to Casa de Campo to the north, the new Madrid Río park runs along the eastern edge of the neighborhood. The park, which runs along the river’s both banks, boasts kilometers of bike and running paths, play areas, an urban beach, and stunning views of the Palacio Real. On the other side of the river, walking across the famous Puente de Segovia, you can walk uphill to the city center in about 20 minutes. It is a surprisingly affordable neighborhood, considering its proximity to the city center, and is well connected by Line 6 of the metro to Ciudad Universitaria, making it a great place for students on a budget.
